The North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) plans to officially open the 2017 tax filing season and begin accepting Individual Income tax returns on Monday, Jan. 23.

For your convenience, the NCDOR provides lists of approved eFile products. Continue to check our website, as additional products will be added as they are approved.

The product names and details*, below, are provided by providers and are subject to change. The lists are updated as new information or additional approved products become available.

eFile for Free – approved products and eligibility requirements

Adjusted gross income (AGI) is listed on Line 6 of your state tax return (and Line 37 of your federal tax return if you are using Form 1040, Line 21 if you are using Form 1040A, or Line 4 if you are using Form 1040EZ).
