NCDOR’s Charlotte Office Moves to New Location in University Executive Park
Date: August 12 , 2011
The N.C. Department of Revenue’s taxpayer service center in Charlotte will move to a new location in University Executive Park at 301 McCullough Drive this month. The old center at 5111 Nations Crossing Road will close August 15, and the new office will open to the public Monday, Aug. 22.
The new office is conveniently located near offices of the Internal Revenue Service, making it easier for taxpayers to handle both federal and state tax issues at one time. The location is off the WT Harris Boulevard exit 45 on Interstate 85.
NCDOR will continue to offer the same types of service and face-to-face assistance in the new office. Taxpayers can file and make tax payments, get information about starting a business, receive help with individual income tax issues and respond to letters and notices from the department in person.
Taxpayers who need assistance while the Charlotte office is closed for moving, should call the Taxpayer Assistance Division at 1-877-252-3052, or visit one of our other service centers across the state in Asheville, Durham, Elizabeth City, Fayetteville, Greensboro, Greenville, Hickory, Raleigh, Wilmington and Winston-Salem.
