Some Sales and Use Tax Coupon Book Deliveries Delayed
Date: January 11, 2013
Some quarterly sales taxpayers who file paper returns will receive their coupon booklets later than in previous years. Approximately 15,000 coupon books were delayed due to issues experienced by the vendor used to print and ship the documents. They should be sent to the post office on or about Jan. 15.
Taxpayers who haven’t received their coupon books can use the department’s Online File and Pay system or print and file a paper copy of the web version of the return to make sure they file by the Jan. 31 due date. If a return is not filed on time, applicable penalties and interest may be assessed by the department.
