Garcia M. Howard, 62, of 2102 Gilman Street, Durham pled guilty in Wake County District Court on March 6, 2014 to three counts of Attempt to Evade or Defeat Tax.
District Court Judge Jennifer Knox sentenced Howard to an 18-month minimum, 22-month maximum active prison term, followed by 60 months of supervised probation. Howard is the owner and operator of Howard Financial Services, Inc.
