Mecklenburg County Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges
RALEIGH -- A Mecklenburg County resident was found guilty recently of tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
William F. Caron, 39, of 15615 Northcross Drive, Huntersville was found guilty April 14, 2003 of three counts of failure to file and pay state individual income tax.
Judge Nathaniel Proctor issued Caron a 30-day suspended sentence and placed him on unsupervised probation for two years. Caron was ordered to pay $10, 014 in restitution to the North Carolina Department of Revenue and to pay court costs.
The charges against Caron are the result of efforts by the Department of Revenue Charlotte
