Davie County Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges

RALEIGH – A Davie County resident pleaded guilty recently to
charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Nicandra Cruz Calderon of 131 Camelot Way, Mocksville, pleaded guilty
on Feb. 19, 2004 to one count of failure pay the state individual
income tax.
Calderon received a 45-day sentence, which was suspended for one
year. He was placed on supervised probation and was ordered to pay
$1,354.10 in restitution as well as court costs.
The charges against Calderon are the result of efforts by the Department
of Revenue Winston-Salem Office.
