Iredell County Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges

RALEIGH – An Iredell County resident pleaded guilty Monday,
Jan. 12, 2003 to charges filed by the North Carolina Department of
Revenue.
Paul R. Wagner of 115 Dry Dock Loop, Mooresville, pleaded guilty
to failure to pay the state withholding tax for June 2000 and September
2000 through June 2001. In addition, Wagner pleaded guilty to failure
to file state individual income taxes from 1999 through 2002.
For the withholding tax offense, Judge Dale Graham ordered that Wagner
be placed on supervised probation for 36 months. He must also pay
$4597.37 in restitution. He was ordered to file his state individual
income taxes in a timely manner and pay any tax due to the state during
his probation.
The charges against Wagner are the result of efforts by the Department
of Revenue Hickory Office.
