Iredell County Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges

An Iredell County resident pleaded guilty Monday to charges filed
by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Troy Dennison of 131 Woodlawn Drive, Statesville, pleaded guilty
on Jan. 10, 2005 to two counts of failure to pay the state individual
income tax.
Judge James Myers issued Dennison two, 45-day consecutive sentences.
The sentences were suspended and Dennison was placed on probation
for 18 months. He was ordered to pay court costs and $4,531.95 in
restitution.
The charges against Dennison are the result of efforts by the Department’s
Hickory Collections Office.
