Forsyth County Business Owner Guilty of State Tax Charges
A Forsyth County business owner pleaded guilty recently to charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Timothy Harbor of 3144 Presley Drive, Winston-Salem pleaded guilty on Jan. 12, 2006 to three counts of failure to file and pay the state withholding tax. Harbor is president of Rapid Prototype Molds, Inc.
Judge Lori Hutchens issued Harbor two, 45-day sentences. The sentences were suspended and Harbor was placed on unsupervised probation for 48 months. He must pay $10,954 in restitution to the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
The charges against Harbor are the result of efforts by the Department’s Winston-Salem Collections Office.
