Wake County Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges

A Raleigh man pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
James S. Anctil of 2129 Blackwolf Run Lane, Raleigh pleaded guilty to failure to file and pay the state individual income tax. He received a 90-day suspended sentence and was placed him on supervised probation for 60 months. Anctil must also pay $36,690.90 in restitution.
The charges against Anctil are the result of efforts by the Department’s Raleigh Collections Office.
