Kill Devil Hills Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges

A Dare County man pleaded guilty recently in District Court to charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Kenneth G. Musselman of 100 Inlet Court, Kill Devil Hills pleaded guilty on May 23, 2008 to one count of failure to pay the state individual income tax.
Judge Edgar Barnes issued Musselman a 45-day suspended sentence and placed him on 24 months unsupervised probation. Musselman must also pay $155 per month for 23 months in restitution.
The charges against Musselman are the result of efforts by the Department’s Elizabeth City Collections Office.
