Iredell County Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges

RALEIGH – An Iredell County resident pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges filed by the
North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Gary W. Feimster, 50, of 116 Redwood St., Statesville, pleaded guilty on Aug. 26, 2003 to
one count of failure to file and one count of failure to pay state individual income taxes.
Judge Dale Graham issued Feimster a 45-day suspended sentence. Feimster was placed on supervised
probation for five years and was ordered to pay $22,866.74 in restitution to the North Carolina
Department of Revenue and to file his taxes on time in the future.
The charges against Feimster are the result of efforts by the Department of Revenue Statesville
Office.
