Wake County Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges
RALEIGH – A Wake County woman pleaded guilty Thursday to charges filed by the
North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Caroline L. Carren of 112 Queensferry Road, Cary pleaded guilty on Dec. 21, 2006 to
failure to file and pay the state income tax. She received a 45-day suspended sentence
and was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. She also was ordered to pay
$210 in court costs.
The charges against Carren are the result of efforts by the Department’s Raleigh
Public Affairs Office
