Iredell County Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges

An Iredell County man pleaded guilty recently to charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Patrick B. Glaspy of 202 Prosperity Place, Statesville pleaded guilty on Nov. 25, 2008 to one count of failure to pay the state individual income tax.
Judge Mary Covington issued Glaspy a 120-day suspended sentence and placed him on 24 months of supervised probation. Glaspy must also pay $2,402.49 in restitution in addition to court costs and attorney fees.The charges against Glaspy are the result of efforts by the Department’s Hickory Collections Office.
