Franklin County Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges

RALEIGH – A Youngsville man pleaded guilty today in Wake County District Court to charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Dennis M. Tracy of 5701 Preakness Place, Youngsville pleaded guilty on July 10, 2008 to failure to file and pay the state individual income tax.
Tracy received a 45-day suspended sentence and was placed on supervised probation for 24 months. He was also ordered to pay a $100 fine and court costs.
The charges against Tracy are the result of efforts by the Department’s Raleigh Collections Office.
