Wake County Resident Guilty of State Tax Charges

Raleigh - A Wake county resident pleaded guilty on July 16 in Wake County District Court to failure to file and pay the state individual income tax.
Ronald E. Ruth of 12925 Creedmoor Road, Wake Forest, was sentenced to 45 days. The jail time was suspended to 36 months supervised probation. He was ordered to pay restitution of $5348.25.
The charges against Ruth are the result of efforts by the N.C. Department of Revenue collections office in Raleigh.
