Wake County Businessman Guilty of State Tax Charges

Raleigh - A Wake county resident pleaded guilty Nov. 10 in Wake County District Court of failure to pay the state sales and use tax.

Darnell Schenck, owner of Luck and Associates of 2005 Village Park Drive, Knightdale, was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation. He was ordered to pay court costs and $8588.65 in restitution.

The charges against Schenck are the result of efforts by the N.C. Department of Revenue collections office in Raleigh.
