Watch For Spam E-Mail That Looks Like A Tax Bill

Criminals are sending out e-mails that look like tax bills from the IRS. These e-mails say that your federal tax payment account was blocked for fraud and encourage you to provide your financial information to pay your taxes. The e-mails come from:

NOTIFICATION#### @ EFTPS.GOV

Please delete this e-mail before opening it. Neither the IRS nor NCDOR send out such e-mails.
