Monthly Sales and Use Tax Reports Are Delayed

Beginning with the November Sales and Use Tax report, the Department of Revenue no longer receives Sales and Use Tax Form E-543.  Therefore, in order to prepare monthly Sales and Use Tax reports we now rely on a different form for the necessary information.  Switching to this new form has required reprogramming, in the course of which we have encountered unforeseen issues.  As a result we still do not have the information needed to produce monthly reports.

We are working to correct the issues and anticipate beginning to receive correct information soon.  At that point we will resume publication beginning with the November 2009 report and expect to publish one report about every three weeks until we have caught up.

We sincerely regret the delay in the publication of the reports and apologize for any problems this delay may have caused.
